The Airborne Athletics Promise … innovation
Airborne Athletics was founded on a single idea: make volleyball and basketball training equipment more effective. That idea has evolved to mean several things to us … and to you, our customer.
Embrace technological advancements
From pneumatic ball delivery … touch controls … customized volleyball and basketball drill memory … to wireless remotes, Airborne Athletic volleyball and basketball training equipment makes it easier for coaches and athletes to get the best from themselves.
Expound basketball and volleyball training drills to encompass the full game
Training is the act of practicing game experiences to hone your talents so that on game day, your performance is consistent and accurate. That means practicing the entire gamut of game experiences. Airborne Athletics basketball and volleyball equipment is engineered and manufactured to give you the full-on game experience.
Empower talent and improvement
Airborne Athletic volleyball and basketball training equipment allows coaches to work a full squad, with an eye on performance and technique, to fully realize practice time … as well as allowing solo or small group training for your most dedicated athletes.
This all means one thing … innovation. Innovation in our features and components. Innovation in volleyball and basketball training techniques and opportunities. And, innovation in the way you play the game. Every athlete plays the game to test their mettle … and every athlete strives to win.
Airborne Athletics promises to innovate your game.
The Evolution of Training
We've gotten smart about sports. Not all that long ago, it was about raw talent or brawn. Now, game-intelligence is just as important. Don't get me wrong … you still have to execute (and execute with authority), but knowing what to do, clearly and calmly, at full game-speed is critical.
For high performing athletes, the game is said to 'slow down'. They are one step ahead, always prepared, never surprised.
It's all about practice
If an athlete wants to be their best … they need to practice. If a team wants to function cohesively at game time … they need to practice.
And the more game-speed that you practice – the more it translates into game time.
For years, we all practiced without training equipment … coaches (or assistant coaches) would lob in a ball and start a play or players would take turns making shots.
Since the early 80's, equipment (while limited in ability) has been employed to speed up practice and put more focus on coaching, playing, and improvement.
That was then … this is now
Innovations and advancements have brought 'practice' up to speed.
Yes, athletes can accurately create game repetitions for groups or solo.
Yes, athletes can accurately create the FULL SPECTRUM of game repetitions at full game-speed.
No longer is training stuck in one spot working a limited set of techniques and drills.
No longer are coaches at a disadvantage due to equipment inflexibility.
Today's training
Today's training allows for the full spectrum of game simulations at game-speed. It puts the controls in the coaches hand, literally, with wireless remote control. Want to stop things and take advantage of a learning moment? Want to speed things up? Change things up? Want to run drills for anywhere? Work on every aspect of the game? Want to develop new plays? Bring specific drills to some athletes for faster improvement?
Today's athlete is bigger, stronger, and faster.
Today's training is full speed, full spectrum, and full control.
Today's game is full on, competitive, and evolving … it takes talent, training, and a plan to make it to the top.
Programs, coaches, and athletes are looking to Airborne Athletics to take them there.
Proven Performance
At any level of competition, the team that develops their skills to optimum performance faster is the team that will win. That is why seasoned players are more effective … they've been there, done that. They have seen more game play and had more repetitions of play.
Airborne Athletics worked to develop more effective training equipment to bring athletes up to speed much faster by making practice a game simulation. We all know that giving athletes repetitions of game experiences makes for better game play. That's why we practice … right?
Don't take our word for it …
here's what coaches are saying:
"Our players love the Dr. Dish. It makes practice time so much more efficient. Players stay in the gym during the off-season. It allows them to work individually with minimal time spent."
Mike Smith, Head Boys Basketball Coach, Booneville High School, Booneville, MS
"Having the Dr. Dish is like having another coach on the floor. It keeps players focused during individual work and promotes competition and cooperation. We absolutely love it."
Doug Gilbert, Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, Torrey Pines High School, San Diego, CA
"In the 5-6 weeks that we have used the machine, the amount of participation has tripled. The workouts have become more organized and the time is cut in half. The girls shooting has improved in this short amount of time they have used the Dr. Dish. I am excited to use it this summer with our high school clinic, our youth clinic, and of course next season."
Andrew Havelka, Omaha North High School, Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, Omaha, NE
